Jomtien is the long beach strip south of Pratumnak and is the largest expat area in Pattaya. It is mainly condos with international restaurants, a promenade and a quieter feel than the centre. A large Russian and Eastern European community lives here.
Getting around: A baht bus runs along Beach Road and Second Road; Central Pattaya is about 4-5 km away, 20-30 minutes by baht bus and 100-150 baht by taxi. Shops, clinics and gyms are reachable on foot or by short scooter trips.
