Jomtien is the long beach strip south of Pratumnak and is the largest expat area in Pattaya. It is mainly condos with international restaurants, a promenade and a quieter feel than the centre. A large Russian and Eastern European community lives here.

交通： A baht bus runs along Beach Road and Second Road; Central Pattaya is about 4-5 km away, 20-30 minutes by baht bus and 100-150 baht by taxi. Shops, clinics and gyms are reachable on foot or by short scooter trips.

知っておきたいこと

• Not much happens after 10pm outside the beach bars.
• Beach is calmer and a bit cleaner than the town beach.
• The Suvarnabhumi airport coach ends at Jomtien Second Road (158 baht, hourly 06:00-22:00).
• Suvarnabhumi is about 110-130 km away (roughly 1.5-2 hours by road); U-Tapao is about 40 km from Jomtien.
